I try to access a report and nothing happens?
More than likely, you have a pop-up device preventing the download. To fix this, perform the following steps:
- Open a new instance of Internet Explorer
- Select Tools
- Select Internet Options
- Select Security
- Click on the Trusted Sites icon
- Click on the Sites button
- Type in frictionless.com in the field provided. (Note: do not enter a prefix such as https or www)
- (Make sure the checkbox is off), then press Add
- Shut down all instances of Internet Explorer and re-start

Only Internet Explorer 6 or 7 are supported.
FireFox, Safari and most 3rd party browsers are not supported.

Select the change My Password link in the Supplier Setup channel

How can my colleagues help me with responding to an RFP?
To create an account for a colleague, follow these simple steps:
- From the Workbench screen, locate the Supplier Setup channel (located under the monthly calendar)
- Select the Manage User Accounts link
The Contact list screen appears. You will see your profile listed as the primary.
- Click the Create button
The New Contact Screen appears. Enter the fields required within each tab (Contact, Account Management, etc)

Contact Tab - Ensure that all required fields have been entered. Required fields are denoted by a red asterisk *.
NOTE: Ensure you review the entire screen by using the scroll bar.

Account Management Tab - Enter the User ID of the person you are creating. It is a good technique to use the first initial of the first name and then the entire last name. (i.e. John Smith = jsmith)
NOTE: Please leave all system default boxes that have been selected as is.
- Click Save
NOTE: Select the Workbench button at the top of the screen to return to the Home screen.
The Frictionless SRM system will automatically generate an email that contains the ID that you entered and a temporary password along with a URL or Web Address to access the system. This newly created user will now be able to access the event on event day by selecting it from the Workbench screen.

How do I attach a file to the RFP?
To attach a file, select the Attachments button (located within the red bar)

To download attachments supporting the RFP/RFI, select the Attachments button (located within the red bar) 
How do I input(or enter) pricing?
Depending on the RFP you will insert pricing differently. There are typically 3 different methods used. (1) via a spreadsheet template, (2) on the questions tab, (3) on the line item tab. NOTE: You MUST follow the instructions provided in the RFP in order for your submission to be considered valid.
How do I submit my response?

- To submit your response, click the In Progress button.
- Change the phase of your response to Preliminary, then click OK
- Then change the phase to Firm and click OK.
Moving the phase to "Firm" submits your response to General Mills.
NOTE: You will not be able to alter your response if the RFP is in this phase.
You must coordinate with the event owner to have it "unlocked"
Does the system automatically block my ability to participate once the due date expires? If so, what needs to be done so I can participate?
Yes. The system will automatically stop you from participating or submitting information once a due date has passed. You may send an email to the event owner if that happens, however this does not mean you will be excused from missing the deadline.
The system won’t accept my password. What should I do?
You may quickly re-generate a new password by selecting the
Forgot Your Password link (found within the login screen.
The system won't allow me to submit my response. What should I do?
If the system wont allow you to submit your response, more than likely it is because you did not answer one or more questions that were denoted with a red asterisk (indicating that a response is required to the question). To quickly identify the question(s) you must answer, select the Unanswered Questions option found within the Reports button (within the red bar). 
How do I answer questions?
To begin answering questions, select the Questions tab. All of the questions related to the RFP/ RFI will be shown on this screen. Select the blue hyperlink or the pencil icon to begin answering questions.
How do I access the RFP?
To access the RFP you’ve been invited to, select the blue hyperlink found within the RFx Response column.
What does the red asterisk mean? (*)
Questions denoted with a red asterisk are mandatory questions. They system will not allow you to submit your response until all mandatory questions have been answered.
What is this RFP for?
If you have questions related to the RFP you’ve been invited to respond to, refer to the RFP manager.
Can I keep an electronic copy of my RFP responses? If so, how?
To keep an electronic copy of your RFP / RFI response, select the Actions button (found within the red bar). Click the Create RFx PDF option to generate an electronic copy.

How do I add collaborators?
You need to request the users to be added in the system. This is done by contacting eSourcing Support.
Can I add comments to the RFP? If so, where should they be entered?
To add comments or notes to your response, locate the Cover Page Comments field found within the Header Tab screen.
How can I obtain instructions, cover letters, etc., supporting this RFP?
To access instructions, cover letters, etc., simply click the Information tab. All informational sections will be listed. Click the blue hyperlink to view/download any of the provided data.
When are my responses due?
Responses are due by the Response Due Date highlighted within the Header Tab screen under the Response Due Date field.
